2025 World Art Awards - Floral - Realism: Bearded Iris and Rainbow Dew
Iβm deeply honored to share that two of my watercolor paintings were selected as winners in the 2025 World Art Awards, competing alongside artists from 58 countries worldwide.
π₯ Category: Floral β Realism
π΅οΈ 5th Place (Tie) β Rainbow Dew
π΅οΈ 6th Place (Tie) β Bearded Iris
Out of thousands of submissions, Rainbow Dew and Bearded Iris were selected by jurors representing global art institutions, featured in the Floral β Realism category β a genre that continues to inspire my creative spirit.
π¨ Bearded Iris β Watercolor, 21" x 29.5"
Painted at a large scale, Bearded Iris challenged me with its seductive curves, folded petals, and the delicacy of dew resting on each surface. The scale allowed me to explore its layered elegance and pull the viewer inward.
π Rainbow Dew β Watercolor, 14.5" x 12.5"
This piece is one of my smaller works but no less vibrant. Inspired by my deep love of Rococo-style tulips and the drama of natural color, I couldnβt resist painting this petal caught mid-bloom β bursting with energy and kissed by dew.
Although I didnβt receive a cash prize, Iβm sincerely grateful to be part of this international showcase. The ongoing media features, press coverage, and global recognition provide meaningful momentum for my work.
π Both pieces will be included in a series of international press releases, 50+ articles, and an hour-long YouTube documentary presented by the World Art Awards and American Art Awards.

β¨ Update:
Iβve just received the official certificates for both pieces, and award ribbons and stickers will be arriving soon by mail. Itβs always a special moment to hold these symbols of recognition in hand β a reminder that every brushstroke and late night spent painting was worth it.

Thank you to the World Art Awards, the jurors, and to everyone who continues to support my work. I paint because I love it β but recognition like this keeps my brush moving forward.
With gratitude,
